It’s a really cute series about friendship, music and the laughs of life. That’s what I love the most about K-On! It’s a really light-hearted and sweet anime. The music is catchy and the characters are really fun to watch.
The movie begins around end of Yui, Mio, Mugi and Ritsu’s last year in high school. They’re getting to go into college but they can’t bear to leave the club and Azusa behind. The girls decide to give Azusa something and they begin to brainstorm. Aside from this, after hearing about the volleyball club’s plans to go to Hawaii, they decide to organize a graduation trip within the light music club. After some discussions (and hilarity), they decide on London as their destination and after convincing Azusa to go with them, the five fly to England.
The rest of the movie follows the adventures of the light music club as they struggle with sightseeing in a foreign country. There’s a lot of comedy and the movie lives up to the standards of the anime and the manga. The ending was probably my favourite part, *sniffles* the ending is simple but so touching! Okay, I’m not going to spoil it for you because I think it’s worth watching if you’re into slice-of-life and comedy.
I’m just really slow when it comes to anime movies so if you’re a K-On fan, you’ve probably already seen this flick but if you’re looking for a light summer comedy for a few laughs, this is the one to watch!
Hope you guys enjoy this movie as much as I did! Thank you so much for reading and I will talk to you guys soon!
