Hey guys, today I’ve finally knocked down my list of reviews down to Brothers Conflict and I felt like this week’s episode of BroCon was really a break and transition leading into the climax and final ending of the short series.
In this episode, everybody’s almost grown up a little and everyone’s worrying about their futures more than the present romances and conflicts that having been taking place. Perhaps the festival trip was really beneficial in strengthening actual family feelings (LOL). At the start of this episode, Chi’s received a report card it seems like she’s not doing so well in one of her classes. University exams are coming up for both Chi and Yusuke so all the other siblings are offering their support as actual brothers and not lovers.
Azusa and Tsubaki are busy handling their careers as voice actors. Tsubaki’s really matured from being hotheaded and rash to level-headed and responsible. Subaru’s decided to go for the pro basketball league and asks Chi to forget about him. I find it a very admirable reason to give up love for his dreams. I’m pleased to see Chi help Natsume and Subaru resolve their brother problems despite her being the catalyst of their romantic competitiveness.
Seems like the serious pressure for Chi to pick one of the brothers as her significant other is easing off her. Even Futo calls to wish Chi good luck on her exams. But exams pass by quickly and even Chi knows that she must pick someone or reject them all, soon. Gosh, I can’t get over the fact that Kaname in BroCon has the same voice as Ren Jinguji in Uta no Prince-sama… both are equally as smooth and alluring >///< Certainly, some brothers have been more aggressive in pursuing Chi than others who use subtle means like Iori who just sends her flowers from time to time.
The episode ends with Subaru leaving the house and I wonder if perhaps Chi is just a bit moved by his decision to go. What of the other brothers? I hope Chi picks someone soon!
What are you pondering today?
