Thoth rewards the class for their decent midterm grades by tasking giving his students the opportunity to do a play. Apollon suggests Cinderella and nominates himself as the prince LOL Naturally all the gods want to be the prince. Yui suggests drawing lots to assign the roles. LOL since Yui wants the decision to be fair, she might not end up as Cinderella… haha I’m sure this will end up hilariously… AND IT DID.
Yui as Cinderella, Dionysus as her father, Apollon as the Prince, Hades as the King, Takeru and Tsukito as the evil stepsisters, Loki as a servant and Thor playing various roles. I have to say that Takeru looks way hot in a dress XD
I see the wall slamming is getting more and more creative every episode with Thoth-sensei. He begins to narrate the play but halfway through Anubis sneaks in and knocks coffee over the script leaving sensei to ad-lib the rest of the show. Later, Anubis finds a bunch of wine left aside by Dionysus. Not good. Do not feed wine to your pets guys.
The ordeal ends with a successful play naturally however when the gang converses outside, they realize that their time at the academy is limited and they will be separated eventually. The gods all turn to Yui, knowing that she’s mortal and even though they can sort of “meet up” after they are freed, Yui’s time is limited on earth.
Balder collapses just before the episode ends *GASP!*
So my friend Haley, the one who does all the lyrics translations here – she’s a hardcore otome gamer. After playing the entire Kamigami Game and all the routes she says there’s two ways the anime could end; the first is the generic otome ending where everyone sort of parts ways just with happy memories and the second ending is well, not so happy as hinted by Balder’s collapse in the episode this week. BUT a third alternative, in my opinion, is that they could totally rewrite the ending because as seen in episode 1 there is still that big godly epic fight that we’re supposedly building up to.
What are you pondering today?
