“Let your ideals drag you to your death…”
Events of the high school part of the route are just about wrapped up at the beginning of this week’s episode. Rin and Shiro immediately regroup to weed out Caster’s master. Archer is acting strangely and it seems like Kirei is wreaking havoc within the Holy Grail War by manipulatinh Shinji. Lots of investigation going on in Unlimited Blade Works this week… AND GOSH who’s that good looking blonde foreigner speaking to Sakura? Gee…
Really, all the adaptation is doing is chronicling events of the Holy Grail War, not that there’s anything wrong with it, there just isn’t much to review in terms of plot structure because the plot structure is sound due to its correlation with the visual novel set-up. Animation is on par and really the only thing I’d like to see more of is character development.
I am enjoying the increased number of Rin and Shiro interactions. I can definitely see them being a super cute couple. One it’s amusing to see Rin goad Shiro about being a master and getting serious about the war because Shiro is like SUPER CHILL in this route. Two, Shiro’s reactions to Rin’s forwardness are quite cute. And three, Rin’s dere or nice moments are fun to watch too.
Well, not as fun as Shiro stripping down Issei down for Command Seals LOLLL
Poor Rin, never getting to really interact closely with Sakura… one because of the storyline and two because of the back storys…
For me FSN UBW is just a comfortable series to watch because you can generally figure out what’ll happen, maybe not the small plot changes between routes but generally you know that a certain number of servants must die and the war must pan out and at the end of the season is the appearance (and screw-up) of the Holy Grail. It’s like waiting for the inevitable really. It’s relaxing for me because I don’t have to guess or think as much as I do in new series LOL
I WANT MORE ILLYA THOUGH! =.=”
