To review or not to review… this show, I can’t even-
I think this series is hella fun, but I don’t know if I’m going to be able to review it all weekly with a straight face in coherent English. I am literally cracking up every time I watch or re-watch these episodes for reviews.
I guess Episode 2 tries… a bit, to settle us into whatever convoluted world set-up that we’ve been given in this season. What is hilarious about the set-up is how adverse and apathetic the members of the Earth Defence Club are about this whole magic boy gig.
And yes. They must be magical until the world is FILLED WITH LOVE. Because LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND LOL
The enemies/monster are weird though. Last time we got a chikuwabu monster. This week, a chopstick monster who gets peeved at uneven numbers. I feel likt he writers could SO DO BETTER. BUT we did get to see the Student Council bad guys (and their stripper boots) transform in all their “evil.”
Wombat-tan is really enthusiastic about getting ALL FIVE boys into the magic action. I’m so sorry that he came up with all the transformation catchphrases of love though LOL Poor Wombat.
I’m curious as to how far they’ll take these magic shenanigans, will there be love power-up transformations? Or more combination attacks? How bout more sparkles? XDD Perhaps they should have given the boys actual weapons rather than… scepters LOL Yumoto is SO INTO the magic girl gig. How adaptable of him.
What are you pondering today?
