You gotta give it to Adlet for sticking it out this long. I don’t know if he’s actually the strongest man in the world but he’s definitely the craziest one. Although we don’t get to hear Adlet’s entire thought process, we see him constantly investigating and while he’s fighting other braves or running for his life he’s calculating SOMETHING.
Episode eleven begins with Adlet and Flamie’s battle against Nashetania and the others. Nashetania is such an emotionally immature individual that she’s either only ever black or white and still doesn’t realize there are hundreds and hundreds of shades of grey between parties. Goldof’s biggest flaw at the moment is that he’s blindly in love and devoted to Nashetania which means her needs and wants come before his and very often, before proper logic. Chamot is a child. With a horrible temper and a sick sense of fun while Maura and Hans seems like the most capable ones. I’m seriously curious as to how the selection process goes concerning the Six Braves. Were the previous six braves this insane? Or does the Saint of the Single Flower have a weird taste in hero preferences?
The meaningless fighting goes on for about more than half the show before Hans and Chamot appear to the scene thus convincing Nashetania and Goldof that Maura was lying about Han’s supposed injuries from Adlet. Maura is intent on killing Adlet till the very last moment when Adlet finally reveals the Seventh Brave’s plan.
Since all the Saints are primarily focused on magic, science is a pretty rare or unknown field in this world. Adlet’s entire set of skills and smarts come from his scientific knowledge. As such, he reasons that the Seventh kidnapped the Saint of the Sun to raise the temperature of the forest over a long period prior to the meeting of the Sixth Braves. Then, when the Braves assembled, the Saint of the Sun was killed which thus dropped the temperature, creating condensation that enveloped the entire forest. With a little bit of luck, Adlet reasons that the Saint of the Sun’s body is hidden within the corpse of a huge fiend among the mess of slaughter among smaller ones. When Hans discovers Riura’s body in a nearby fiend, Adlet’s theory proves to be true.
Seriously, Adlet is the only madman that could have lasted this long just to prove his innocence. Now the question remains is WHO EXACTLY IS THE SEVENTH!?!?? The suspense keeps us on the show till the very end.
