Hey guys how are you all? I hope you’ve all had wonderful holiday celebrations with your family and friends. I know I have and there are quite a few interesting holiday events and installations to check out this time of the year in Hong Kong. One particular character named Pom Pom Purin was featured in a lovely display at the Metro City Plaza at Po Lam. Pom Pom Purin is a Sanrio character and it is typically associated with tea and pudding. It’s translated Chinese name literally means Pudding Puppy (or dog).
I found these sculptures and little displays really quite festive and fitting for the holidays. They went with a dreamy Christmas Wonderland theme while keeping to the golds and caramels unique to the Pom Pom Purin trademark look. There was even a crane game and promotional features for fans to check out. Overall I was really impressed with how this event went.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post =) Regularly scheduled reviews will return soon!
Hello everyone, how are you guys doing? We haven’t done a Cloudy Says in a REALLY long time – mostly because I have been so busy trying to get reviews out while getting essays in and evaluations done. As of this Friday, most of the spring anime pilot episodes have been released and for your reference, here is a comprehensive list of everything we’ve looked at thus far.
Continuing from the last season will be Nisekoi: False Love and Nobunaga the Fool. Spring looks like a really awesome season and I can’t wait to get my reviews going. Let me know which ones you guys are following in the poll or if there’s a show I’ve missed, comment below and I’ll make that first impression happen. It’s still exam time for me right now so no reviews from me until at least the night of the 19th.
Is the order a rabbit? Good question. I feel all the loli-loving anime otaku men cheer in exulted joy towards this show. It’s like, little colourful cute girls, dressed up as maids, in a café. And the café is called … Continue reading →
Hey guys! I have a super cool destination attraction to share with you guys today. For my Hong Kong readers and viewers or anyone who’s currently in Hong Kong, I strongly suggest you go to Harbour City (海港城) in Tsim Sha Tsui (尖沙咀) and check out the Films of Studio Ghibli Exhibition. Studio Ghibli has been the animation film studio that produced amazing anime moves such as Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Howl’s Moving Castle, Arrietty and the list goes on! My favourite has to be My Neighbour Totoro… he’s just so darn cute!
The new Donguri Republic overseas store opened today and I can’t wait to check it out!
Hope you guys enjoyed this quick little blurb and thank you so much for the overwhelming positive responses I got from my “Bathtub of the World” post. Thank you so much for all the support 🙂 I will try to post new travel rants and reviews every day. Stay tuned for a Macau-themed review!
